The scandal involves the ex-General Manager of Juventus (Moggi) and the alleged fixing of referees for certain games. (In other words those referees who would likely show favouritism towards certain teams. This started in 1994 and the other teams which are implicated in the scandal are Fiorentina, Lazio and Milan.
Juventus have been relegated to serie B of the Italian league along with Fiorentina and Lazio. Milan have kept their serie A status, but with the 44pt deduction they won't be able to play the Champions League this year.
Juventus have been stripped of their last 2 league titles and will start next season with 30pts less. It is likely to take them at least 2 seasons to get back to the serie A. Fiorentino and Lazio have, I think, only 15pts to make up.

Yes, the scandal is about match-fixing, and the teams being relegated are Fiorentina, Juventus, and Lazio, I think those are the ones.
I don't know why the want to fix matches, what is the point in watching a match if you aren't going to be surprised at the outcome of the match?
An I think AC Milan won't be allowed into the Champions League this season coming. Good news for other teams.

I would hold fire with all the talk about players coming to England, Juventus, Fiorentina, Lazio and AC Milan are going to appeal. I feel the sentences will be cut and Fiorentina and Lazio may not be relegated and AC Milan losing only 9 pts. Juventus will stay relegated with a reduced penalty of 15 points. These are my opinions based on gut feeling.

four teams have been accused and now convicted of match fixing over the last couple of years. after the ruling yesterday Three teams have been relegated to Serie B (Second Division) and docked points with AC Milan being docked points. to put it simply; next season Juventus will have to win 10 games to be on 0 points. it's a shame for them isn't it.

some of the BIG italian serie A clubs were rigging games and now are going to be sent down to serie C. because they are dropping so low, all of their current players' contracts are now void. so clubs are going to pick up the stars as quick as possible.
