Do you agree with the new rankings? Brazil is still in 1st place, And Italy is now in 2nd place, And Argentina is in 3 third place, And France is 4th place,etc.

I think that Argentina, and Portugal should be in upper places.
Brazil soled themselves and it is more than obvious, just remember how they played vs. France. Germany won vs. Argentina because the ref. did not gave the Arg. a 100% penalty 5 minutes before the game. Italy was also backed up. Spain has new team which doesn't play together very well. Czech republic won only one game. My list is.

I'm happy with the new rankings. Argentina was second only to Brazil in our zone, and Italy is the champ, so the top 3 are all worthy :D. Some of the others are a bit iffy, though. I don't understand how Germany got 9th place. Shouldn't they be a little higher?

Well, FIFA's thing dates back, what, is it two years, four years? Which is stupid. I mean, you could win the world cup, and then seven of your starters could retire, and you wouldnt be the best anymore, but because of that win, you would have points in FIFA's ranking system. Anyway, I am not going to go back too far, in fact, no more than 6 weeks. I am going to rate them solely on how they played in this past World Cup.

Who cares? FIFA doesn't even use the rankings to seed World Cup qualifying groups or the World Cup Finals groups (other than its bogus one seed to head each group they detremine by charting # of metrosexuals per squad). The rankings are completely and utterly meaningless. It's not like tennis, dude.

BRAZIL & ITALY is definitely at the top two spot, but i would say that GERMANY & PORTUGAL deserved to be higher that it should. SPAIN, the world cup under achievers should be lower, they don't deserved to be in the top 10 list. overall, i think it's OK, let's us wait for the next one in August 2006.
