The scars are across my cheeks. They're not very visible with make-up on, but from certain lights and angles I can still see the indents in my face! I hate them!

What you need to do is smooth those scars by avoiding the use of mineral oil and animal products in your beauty products since these do not get absorbed by the skin and what it does is that it clogs your pores. So the scars you have right now may seem gone but when you see they are still there, what these ingredients do is only superficial and you want the ingredients to go skin deep. In fact mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skins health #1 is the sun, it is like rubbing car oil on your skin and exposing yourself to the sun... Animal product come form rendering plants, these plants pick all dead animals from the road, meatmarkets etc and what they do is put them in a huge pot and squash everything inside and boil it the oil that comes to the top is what other companies use to formulate their "beauty" products ... gross i know.. eww lipstick and aghhh .. anyway, the important thing to do is read your ingredients and use the right ones regularly .... i use arbonne and i I buy them online at: http;//arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com(under shop online) they are botanically based and you could really see the difference, i had acne and lots of blemishes and my skin has cleared so much thanks their line clear advantage , it really is amazing and they have everything for everybody.... Also their face wash is great because it cleanses without drying and removes all traces of makeup and dirt.... works wonderful for me and the best thing is that you could shop online, receive it in your house and if ther is something you do not like about the products which is rarely to happen, you return the item and they give your money back .... you have nothing to loose only those scars and pores ;~)

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Niacinamide face cleansing pads are an effective and simple way to keep acne away. Just place a pad on the pimple and watch it fade away. Lavender Oil helps prevent skin drying. Niacinamide also helps diminish skin-hyperpigmentation (acne scars) Niacinamide pads are also known as Vitamin B3 pads or Nicotinamide pads. Works on body acne too. Give them a try and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Microdermabraision is a good technique for this. You can do that one of two ways. Getting a kit at the drugstore or whereever you buy face-wash is one way, or you can go the professional route. Try a face-wash system that is meant to reduce visible pores. If your scars are still stubborn, you can get scar creams like Mederma for them.

your best bet is probably microdermabrasion. It takes off the first few layers of skin, forcing it to heal itself and make new tissue. It diminishes fine lines, wrinkles, and scars
