Does anyone know what Italian address are supposed to look like or how they work? Im trying to send a letter..

Does anyone have an example of what its supposed to look like so i dont get anything messed up.

If you're sending it to a small town, add the two-letter province code after the city. If it's going to a big city, don't bother.

For any country at all, if you have the person's name (or company name) on the first line, followed by the street address or post office box on the second line, then the city name, province, postal code, and the name of the country on the final line, you should be alright. Postal systems in nearly every country are used to handling foreign mail, and that is a pretty standard format. Now, if you wanted to mail a letter to Afghanistan or North Korea, I'm not sure that would work...

Note: you should write the address you have in the local language, if the address is written that way. Certainly, street names should always be in the local language. Names of small towns and villages also need to be in the local language. City and province names can be either in the local language or in English (if you don't know the local spelling); for letters from the USA, it is best to write the country in English, since that is for the use of the USPS.
