The funny thing is so many people are concerned about the quality of life and question if it would not be better and more humane to put the horse down. They wish they could communicate with the horse.

On the other hand someone with bone cancer and unrelenting pain who desires to end it all is forced to continue with the pain with no options. Go figure ....

No I'm not. There are those of us (many, many of us!) who happen to care about this horse and recognize how very special he is. It is unfortunate the number of people who have a lack of compassion, not just for animals..but people, too. That is probably one of the things that is wrong with this world. This horse has more spirit, fight, and a better attitude than many people. If your sick of hearing about it, then turn off your TV. For the rest of us who have the compassion to really care, we will continue to hang on every report, bless each day he lives as a miracle, and hope and pray for his full recovery!

That horse's sperm is worth quite a bit of money, I'd want to keep it alive if it were my horse.
