Wow, for a fangirl like me, this is a toughie.

Spiderman definitely stands out for me- he's a nerd at heart, just a regular guy who happened to get bit by a radioactive spider. His character was always very human and relatable, but he still kicked @$$ all over the place. Also, the comic is historic because it was the first place they killed a main character and love interest (Gwen Stacy), and has brought us some great villians (think Venom!)

Wolverine is great because he's a classic anti-hero; he might have a heart of gold somewhere in there, but you'll have to go through a skeleton of adamantium to find it! He has samurai training as well as street brawler skills, making him a well rounded fighter. He's practically undefeated, taking on characters such as The Thing from Fantastic Four and The Hulk.

Speaking of anti-heros, we come to Batman, quite possibly the all time best SuperHero. Why? Because he has no super powers at all. He's a detective with revenge on his mind after the of his parents; all of his gadgets, cars and weapons he makes himself. He's a loner and often portrays the darker side of the comic book world.

But the top reason Batman is number one? In the Frank Miller graphic novel, He kicks the everloving CRAP out of superman with a mean pair of kryptonite gloves! How do you get any better than that?

There's my two cents!

The best super hero is someone who will stop on the sidewalk, help an old lady cross the street, walk back, and be late to work and still smile about it afterward.

My brother's an Eagle Scout. Doing one good deed a day is all well and good, but some of us never feel satisfied till we get in at least three or four.

The Mighty, THOR!

Thor possesses Class 100 strength, enabling him to lift (press) over 100 tons. Thor's strength is doubled when he wears his enchanted belt of strength. Known superhuman powers: Thor possesses the superhuman physical attributes of an Asgardian, but as the son of Odin, lord of the Asgardians, and Jord, elder goddess of the Earth, his strength, endurance, and resistance to injury are greater than those of the vast majority of his race. Like all Asgardians, Thor is extremely long-lived (although not immortal like the Olympians) superhumanly strong (the average Asgardian male can lift about 30 tons over his head; Thor can lift over 100 tons above his own), is immune to all Earthly diseases, and is resistant to conventional injury. (Asgardian flesh and bone is about three times as dense as similar human tissue, contributing to the Asgardians' superhuman strength and weight.) Thor's Asgardian metabolism gives him far greater than human endurance at all physical activities
