8 out of 10 women now survive breast cancer. It depends very much on the stage - if its only in the breast and nowhere else she has a very good chance. If it has metastised (spead to other areas) the picture is more uncertain. try this link! I hope she will be ok,

Many places on the web to go and look up treatment and medicine that they give.I had breast cancer twice and Had some chemo the first time ,second time I had radiation. It `s rough but you make it through.Actually the radiation doesn`t hurt it burns the skin and you take it everyday through the week for 4-6 weeks. It burns the skin badly. They give chemo also.I didn`t have chemo ,just radiation this time but I do take a pill everyday now for the next five years.Armedex.Take test ,scans of my lungs ,every 3 months for awhile now 6.They give bone scans also..I`ve had two sense2004,and bone density test are given once a year because of pill.Good luck and keep the faith.

You sent me a message and I tried to email you back. Did you get it? I was giving you my email address so you can email but after I hit sent, Yahoo said "OOPs your email did not go through" -- I will email you back with any answers. Yes, I had it - my mom died from it but over 20 years ago and things are different now. I want to ease your fears.

this is what i know:
treatments:
1. kemo theropy (makes you loose your hair, feel grouchy, but works really well)
2. Raditation (puts radioactive waves in your body to kill all cancer)
Also, after having it once it can come back.
