There is nothing wrong with calling her by her name. I have been a stepmother and I have a stepmother. My stepdaughter called me by my first name and I call my stepmother by her first name. I do not think it is disrespectful. You could also ask her what she wants you to call her.

I have a step mom and i never called her mom but that was respect for my mom and of course you cant call her stepmom thats just tacky ;-) ............. why dont you use her name if you feel uncomfortable with that then speak to her about it and you two can come up with something

just call her by her name. I don't think I would like my 3 boys calling there step mom mom. we have been separate a year and half and he got married already.

Ask her if it's okay to call her by her first name. Or maybe have a nickname for her.

It's nice that you want to find a special name for your step-mother I suggest you come up with a nickname based on her name or ask her what she perfers.

just respect her u silly person.she is on the place of mom so called her mom. never call her by her name. never.
