If you serously want to get one, use torrents, they often have pirated softwares, I can't stay which torrent site I use but you can find some , bitcomet is a torrent client that provides you with links of majoring torrent sites.
Pirating norton is not that easy though, there's a process required which I know of a site that has the guide but I forgot the link. Essentially you can use it just dont let it connect with the internet, IE: auto updates off.
Pirating software is illegal and is a risk factor, this is only for a statement and I'm not instigating the usage of such manners. (for legal purpose)
I as well don't use Norton, I use Nod32 but I don't know if it works because I've never been infected with a virus, well one but i removed it manually.

you can get a free trial at like download.com but i suggest you not, because symantec antivirus has to be the worst antivirus, it simply scans your computer for viruses and it doesnt even delete them! you can get better freeware antiviruses such as "antivir" or "avg antivirus" norton is the worst you can get.

If you are in the Army or another military service then you can go to your AKO web site which is known as ( Army Knowledge Online) and ther is where you can get it and alot of free software.

Hi, there maybe something virus with your IE.
i recommand you to try firefox.
it can block that annoying ads and disable any virus on webpage. as you know, most virus are spread through internet.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

get free anti virus from grisoft.com (avg free ) free version
it has also got paid one also only download free version
i am using this for last 2 yr
there is also microsoft office similar software free from office.org
which is compitable with microsoft office
