I doubt it.

However adult male iguana bites are NOT funny.

I don't remember the issue But Reptiles magazine had an article about iguana bites. The article included photos of a woman severely bitten on the face by an iguana> If I remember correctly, it almost took off her nose!

Again I must say iguanas are not good pets for MOST people.

The bite would do some serious damage but unless the person let the iguana gnaw for a while it couldn't bite the hand all the way off.

no a human hand wouldn't fit in an iguana's mouth, but a bite would still do some damage to a human hand.

probally not the common green igauna. A small build adult or a child though it might come close. I have seen them give nasty bites requiring many stiches. I bet one of those marine igaunas from the Glaopogos Islands could come close though.

Probably not, but they can bite hard and do a lot of damage. Their bites can cause infection. Be careful and research safe handling techniques, especially for large iggys. :)

I don't think even a full grown one could bite it completely off..it could do some SERIOUS damage though!

nope they can leave a scar though, even a snapping turtle cant take off your hand, an alligator could though

not a green iguana.but they have been know to inflict serious injury or even death with a swipe of thier tail.
