I do not like asking this, but I will. I have been having this for over six months. One of my breasts, leaks. By that, I mean a yellow clear liquid comes out of the nipple. It only happens when it is squeezed, so it's not running out.

I have never been pregnant, so what could it be? I am a 28 year old female. Should I see a doc or is this pretty common? Please help!

Yellow nipple discharge is common. Benign cysts, such as those associated with fibrocystic changes often contain a yellow or green or greenish-black fluid. This discharge is usually nothing to worry about if it occurs when your breasts are poked, prodded, squeezed, or otherwise stimulated. You should still see your doctor for an exam and testing to confirm.

My sister-in-law had a "breast infection" and that is what was happening to her. Did need antibiotics.
At the same time, I've had breast cancer, and when you go for a mammogram it asks if you have any leakage. I didn't BUT it can still be a symptom. So, PLEASE go get checked out. Either way - you may need treatment. Oh....and I'm alive - breast cancer isn't a death sentence anymore (if you take care of it when/if it happens). You can email me if you want. But try not to be scared.

You should get yourself to a gynecologist right away! Could be a symptom of breast cancer. I'm not kidding!
