Yup. Sometimes you're body will skip it altogether if you're stressed out enough. Its happened to me a couple of times before and I wasn't pregnant. Just know that your body is in survival mode if stress causes your period to be late or if you miss it altogether, so try to be good to yourself-exercise off the stress, set aside enough time to sleep, and try to eat healthy-its summer-think fruit smoothies (fruit is packed with vitamin c that'll boost your immune system) If you aren't sure, most clinics offer pregnancy testing for cheap or for free, grab the phonebook and make a few calls. It happened to me when I was a teen. But I think as I grew older, I am more in control and it doesn' happen anymore, even when I am really stressed out.

It absolutely can. Stress can cause certain hormone release to be delayed and thus delaying the menstrual cycle.

I've read waaaaay too many medical books... Yes. It can also cause a change in your flow, as well as increased cramps and headaches. Hope this helps!
