I will apply to graduate school and i am collecting letters of recommendation but teachers give it to me in sealed envelopes so there is no way for me to see what they are saying about me. If i open the envelop and send the letter with a new envelop -after i read it- will they not accept my later? Isn't there a way?

There are actually a couple of options...on many applications, there is a place for you to check whether you waive your right to see the contents of your recommendation letters. If you don't check the box, you can contact the school you're applying to and ask to read the letters. Honestly though, that would more than likely send up a red flag to the admissions committee because it looks like you're not confident about how good your letters are.

Second, you just ask your references for a copy of the letter before they send it off. I've found that most professors are more than happy to give you a copy if you just ask for it. In fact, one of my professors asked me to proofread a letter before he sent it off just to make sure he had emphasized the right things about me for my program of interest.

My best advice is just to not do anything sneaky that could jeopardize your chances of getting into grad school. There's nothing wrong with wanting to read your recommendation letters...just try asking for them!

If it's sealed, you should leave it alone. You must have gone through this process before...you should be a pro at it by now. Very few teachers would write you a BAD recommendation letter; they'd just politely decline to write one at all if they didn't feel they could say good things about you. Relax, and send them out, and accept that you won't know what's in them unless the teachers involved or someone at your interview tells you.

I can't believe that you will be going to graduate school and asked something like that. Just relax and give up its not meant for you to read it for the school to read. You must have been a bad student to worry the way you do.

You've apparently missed the point of the sealed envelope.

Didn't you pick instructors that you thought would put in a good word?

You will need to open the letters since you will need to make copies of them. Or do you think you will apply for one job and get that job?
