Ripping dvd is not illlegal essentially, for the retard above me, dvd can be composed of individual works and such that isn't copyrighted nor warns the copy / distribution of it.
You can not rip dvd's by the way

There is one program out there that pretends that it can make players into burners.. Its physically not possible. If you want to burn DVD's you will need a DVD burner.

no you cannot, the cd burner only recognizes cds, dvds are a different type, so your cd burner will not read it, it will come as a error.
