Great days indeed!! The Stone Roses win though!
The Hacienda now a boring block of flats now...so sad when I drive past....

Oh yeah the Manchester hacienda.......... Went there to see it a few weeks ago and it's been knocked down and flats built on it. Shame. To answer your question though - stone roses were just that wee bit better............ Never beat the Smiths though. Manchester had an incredible music scene.
