Dig it.
Juvenile and tacky and lots of fun. It was a great warm-up for the after party :)

Diss It....our proms here aren't that fun. It's just a place for teenagers to get hopped up and make bad decisions. I remember back in the day when I was 17, I thought they were awesome then. I would say Dig only because it's tradition and school just wouldn't be the same without them. Now that I'm older though, they are just kind of over-rated. Girls spent too much money on dresses, shoes, jewerly, hair, makeup, etc....they end up at prom for like an hour and then leave to hit up hotel parties

Anything that gets people together in a friendly way has got to get the thumbs up, so dig. Of course if you don`t like these things, then just don`t go to them. Of course you get the odd one or two bad characters nearly everywhere, but once you know who they are, you can usually keep away from them. If you do that these type of events should be great fun, and a chance to meet people.

It's the time of the year that most high school upperclassmen wait for, since it's not jsut any ordinary dance, but a dance with limited underclassmen, if any, and it's the special treat after a long school year.

I'm not looking forward to mine, only because I don't like to buy expensive clothes that you normally only have 1 place to wear it to, but it isn't like you are going to wear it twice to prom, so it is a waste.
So for me, it is a diss, but it is part of the high school experience.
