Different species of cucumbers grow many sizes you must have the Cucumis melo variety cucumbers they are best to pick around 15" to 18". They definitely can grow over 2 feet but would not be as good. Miracle grow can make them grow even double the size if properly taken care of, likely would have to feed with hypodermic needle.

Waht kind of cucumbers are they?...English cucumbers can get that big if not bigger... are you using Miracle Grow? That usually helps people get bigger results from a garden

With most garden items SIZE MATTERS, several things you can pick when they are young and they have more flavor like squash, cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, asparagus.

They can grow up to 12' (thats feet, not inches) long... I have seen several that big...
