I see the neocons and I feel sorry for them, like they have eyes yet cannot see. I make one comment that shows a liberal slant, and I get dumped on with the meanest, most vitriolic, name calling imaginable.
I liked your comment that the right is a bunch of angry guys further fueled by the hate spewing, talk show hosts. I would add that the sad part is how many are led around by the nose and seem to accept as gospel anything that comes out of the white house, even the most outrageous lies.
I personally do not see how a same sex relationship affects anyone outside the relationship. If we are to continue to live in a free country, everyone must have the same right to pursue happiness. How could what is happening in a same-sex relationship affect them in any way? It doesn't.

True and pure Communism was never practiced, such as true and pure Democracy(if it was ever was)has stopped being practiced long ago. As many who post here has proved. Give them a better than basic level of self-comfort. Be damn what the Constitution say, or what happens "over there". So long as I have mine, and it is not threaten, leave me alone.
If the true ideal of Communism had been practiced, it might have been close to what the 1st nation had. Where there was not all the politicking and back room dealings and hand shaking going on. The government and the people would get the same. Not certain elite.
And if this was a true democracy the people running it would not be using the positions to enrich themselves and their cronies. The people in government were suppose to be public servants but it seem the public are servants of theirs. They do what is best for those who would provide the most money or vote rather than voting on what is best no matter how unpopular.
No one has cornered the market on hypocrisy. Seems everyone wants a piece of that pie.

Communist are now allowed to vote? Interesting......Do they know that?
The gay marriage issue is not a right/left issue. It is heterosexuals want the institution of marriage to remain between a man and a woman. Remember this country was founded on Christian values and is steeped into its core.
If this nation allows Gays to marry, is it then okay to marry your dog? how about polygamy? I'm thinking once that door is open there will be no end of what wants to walk through it.
You can't use segregation as an example. Segregation was wrong in the human rights sense. Gays are not be punished or discriminated against because they can use the civil union process to obtain the legal protections they are searching for.

Well liberals say that terrorists and illegal immigrants should have all the rights that citizens do but then say that it's okay to kill a citizen before they are born. Anybody else sensing some hypocrisy here?

The doctrine of the neo-cons reaks of hypocracy on virtually every level. It's just important to realize that extremists (of any sort) do not follow rational patterns of logic because they are so indoctrinated into their belief system they can no longer think for themselves.

Do you really think the people of China get to vote on anything? Do you really think they ever had free elections in the former Soviet Union? I think you need to learn what communism was all about before you start trying to use it to justify your way of thinking.
