Is Lexmark X1100 the same as Product: 1100 Color Jetprinter?

and when i download that product... what do i do??... do i go to the "add printer' and it'll do it itself??...

Yes it's the same.

Download the product and install it. It will tell you when to connect the printer.

If the printer came with an install CD use that first and install your printer then update the drivers.
