What does this look like?

Is there something like an art pad that you can hook up to your computer and draw on it and it will come up on your computer? I'm just curious about it.. if you know what I'm talking about could you please tell me the name of it?

I bought a wireless mouse/pen set up from office max for 99 bucks it's probably gone done by now. It's by graphire. Check out this website: I found it online at circuit city.

The device is known technically as a graphics tablet. Most come with a stylus (pen) and a mouse. With the right software (and it'll come with some basic software) it can draw on your screen and most are pressure sensitive to a degree (the professional ones to many degrees), so that when you lean harder with the pen the line is thicker or the colour deeper or whatever.

You can pick them up fairly readily and they most commonly follow paper sizes (A6, A5, A4 etc). Prices vary, but I suspect it's one of those things where you get what you pay for. Just have a look for it in your local computer store's catalogue. I just checked - Amazon and Yahoo! Shopping also stock them.

There has been for quite a while. They are called, computer drawing pads. You can see some here.

That pen in the picture may be computer activated and it probably goes with this person's other picture on the site that appears to be a computer operated eraser. If it is not, then it is a mechanical pencil.

ye honey it is the thing that has the pad n a pen with it.
the pen n pad r connected with compute.then watever u will rite on it or draw n it it will be seen the same way n with same result on the computer.
basically such stuff is used for doing drawing on it as its easy to draw on pad instead of drawing on comp.
the pad n pen send the signals of ur movement on the pad to computer n ur comp will produce the same result.its good stuff for working freely wiht ur comp speciallt is u r a an artist.

my frnd i dnt know the name of it bt u can easily know bout it if u ask some workman in computer shop.

Baby I'n not sure but almost positive it some sort of device where you can do some sort of graphic designs on your lab top or computer.It looke as if it was a lab top but I'm sure they have one for a computer as well.If you have a printer print it out and take it to a computer store.

I'm not sure what it's called but they do have them for computer aided design and drafting. You can check your local techy store and see. Maybe a local college or design school. Good luck!
