Onto other networks and by the way what does Ebay stand for?

Ages ago I had an nec e330 on 3pay and I got it unlocked no problem at my local shopping centre for 10 quid.

I had my nec e330 on 3 unlocked for a tenner - I found that official shops wont touch it but I went to a market stall who did it no problem.

As for ebay - my radio station once said it mean Electronic Bidding Against Yourself - I dont know how true that is or where they got there information from.

Call '3' - they will unlock it to other networks for £15 - if it's your phone.

I think 3 sims are completely different to everyone else's, so no. Even other 3G sims are different.

My theory about ebay is that this was the company that tried to buy the "ebuy" domain name from someone for a million quid but he refused (and now it's worthless) so they stuck with something similar. Could be wrong.

i asked the same question 3 months ago and was told i could get it done in a mobi store but not over the net...as yet i still havent had it done!

Yeah, you have to call 3 to get it unlocked!!

unsure if you can take it to a shop ot anything though!!
