yeah- while you're logged in go to 'your acount' and click on change password-

If you would like to change your Yahoo! password, just sign in to your Yahoo! account with your current password and click the Account Info or My Account link at the top of the page. You will be asked to re-enter your current password for verification. Then:
Click the "Change Password" link.
Enter your current password in the first box.
Enter your new password (as you would like it to be) in the second box.
Confirm your new password in the third box.
Click the "Save" button.
Your Yahoo! password will always apply to your entire Yahoo! account. This means that it will be valid not only for Yahoo! Mail, but also for Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Chat, My Yahoo!, Yahoo! Finance, and all of Yahoo!'s other personalized services.
Please Note: To better protect your account, make sure that your password is memorable for you but difficult for others to guess. Never use the same password that you have used in the past, and do not share your password with anyone. For security purposes, your new password must be a minimum of six characters long. A good password contains a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters (remember that your password is case sensitive), numbers, and special characters such as +, ?, and *.

If you're referring to your Yahoo! password, that can be changed by logging into your account and going to My Account (under your sign-in name at the top of the screen). By your Yahoo ID Card info, there's a place to change your password.
If it's not your Yahoo! password you need to change, please clarify your question.

YES YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD YOU JUST GO My account then type in your old password and then it give you all your account information then click on change password.

i guess u go to 'my yahoo' option on the top of the screen ven u sign-in! follow da instructions n u vil reach da option 2 change ur password!
hope it wrks n this time try n think of a better password which ur frnd mightn't b able 2 hack!!!
