He's been to Sainsburys. I saw him in there 2 weeks ago. He had a trolley full of frozen pizzas and he's put on a few pounds. He's still got the ponytail, its down round his waist now. He must have just finished work as he had a Kwikfit (the tyre fitters) uniform on. I think he plays for their 5-a-side team on a Wednesday night. Hope that helps

Never quit. Make the coaching staff regret their decision. You must buck up and make the most of it. If the starter gets hurt, you'll be back at your old job. Football is football. What would you be doing instead of being on the field watching chick flicks? I understand your situation and I definitely would contemplate quitting. I'd stick with it and maybe ask the coaching staff if you could get maybe even a couple running plays a game and make the most out of it. Do you like defense and does your school make/allow you to play both ways? If you are any good at say linebacker, play LB and try to put that other RB on his back. Show the staff he's not good enough and you'd avoided yourself had you been the back. Whatever you do, don't quit. Show the team you are valued and needed on the field in an impactful way. Also, hard worker doesn't necessarily mean most talented. A lot of guys without great ability work hard to compensate. If you fit that bill, work harder on your skills like improving speed, agility, etc. If you continue to work hard and improve your skill set, you will definitely start unless they just are black balling you. Be a WR if they make you but work on your running back skills after practice. Don't let this set back affect you. You never know, one play is all it takes for an injury or the guy to be in the doghouse and you are back at your old spot. I would politely and tactfully ask the coaching staff what you can do to get your job back. Tell them you'll run 1,000 suicides if that's what it takes. Start running them and talk at the same time. Just show them your heart and desire. If they still make you play WR, you've at least planted the seed. I would do everything in my power in a respectful, tactful, and leadership way of letting it be known, you want to play RB. Don't be a distraction to the team just lead by example and challenge yourself and others. Don't give up. EVER.
