I'm very sad because I wanted Germany to win this year. It sucked that it ended for them like that. It broke my heart when I saw Ballack crying. They were so close. I know they would have won had it gone to a penalty shootout. Jens Lehmann excels at saving penalties.

Me. I definitely didn't want match-fixing, low-rent taunting divers to win. The Germans were hard-working and stand-up players.

Well brother, I am an Argentinian Girl and I fall in love with M. Ballack but I was very happy when they lost the match with Italy because the Germans are good players but they aren't excellent as the world thought...but the Frenchs and the Italians(they really are excellent) and don´t forget about us. We lost the match with Germany because of the penalties and we had bad luck when Pato hurt and came the other...We are very sorry for losing the cup but we really know that we are better than Germany, Italy, Brazil and France!Any way...PEACE TO THE WORLD!!

The game between Germany and Italy was fixed..they called a "rigore" (foul, bump) just before the end of the game (well, it had to be decided) and then they got the best kicker (Totti), to do the penalty kick shot, the goal is so close (11 meters), even my 10 years old son can't miss. It was FIXED.and if you believe otherwise, then you're pretty naive..Totti by the way is now known as the "Worlds Soccer Spit Champion" because he in another game spit in the face a German..remember.

i was very sad...and even more sad when i saw BALLACK crying ....it is really hard to see your love crying.:D..really i really was sad and i started crying when i saw ballack crying...after all what germany did in the hosting they play on third place bcoz of stupid italians??!!!! who are in the first place very misbehaved/..it is a bit harsh

GERMANY DID WIN - !!!!!
Germany was an excellent host country. They were well prepared. The fields and stadiums were in great condition. Distractions were kept at a minimum. The participating teams and the visiting fans were well treated.

Hmmm...I wasn't really rooting for them...but it would have been nice to win the Cup as the home team... =)
