The UN seems pretty impotent to me!! They have their meetings, sit in emergency session, and what happens ......they make a resolution!! War breaks out, what do they do???...............yes, of course,MAKE A RESOLUTION!! Thats the ONLY response. What shall we do today? I know, "Lets make a RESOLUTION!!!!!

Most things that the UN comes up with is completely useless. The security council is talking while dictators are developing nuclear weapons.... And when they finally agree of something they only condemn the actions but it never has any consequences and that is why NK absolutely doesn't care at all about what the UN is telling them to do.... The permanent members of the sequrity council has so different interests that it is a waste of time to ask them of anything....

Everything the UN does is useless. They are useless, I am not aware of the resolution but give me an example of a UN resolution that has ever done anything.

The U.N. is useless, so by default, yes, the resolution was not worth the paper on which it was written.

Let's send these losers packing. Send them home already. We need the additional parking and luxury housing in New York.

No it was not useless because even though they won't comply they know that they have no allies at this time. It is strictly psychological in nature.
