If I receive something via mail/FEDEX that I did not order can I keep it?

I did not order anything from FEDEX but there was a tag on my door when I got home. I thought that if someone/company sent you something not ordered you could keep it.

The more important question than 'can you keep it' is 'SHOULD you keep it'.

If it's not yours, you should not.
