I'm Canadian, but don't listen to me, listen to the UN, which has chosen Canada as one of the best countries to live in several years:
2004 – Norway
2003 – Norway
2002 – Norway
2001 – Norway
2000 – Canada
1999 – Canada
1998 – Canada
1997 – Canada
1996 – Canada
1995 – Canada
1994 – Canada
1993 – Japan
1992 – Canada
1991 – Japan
1990 – Canada
1985 – Canada
1980 – Switzerland
It is not, then surprising that Canada has one of the highest ratios of immigration, which is further evidence that Canada IS liked.

Canada is great! I've been to the east part. Best places to go are Niagara Falls (which is much better on the Canadian side) which has rides, restaurants, attractions, and several haunted houses (not real of course) all along a strip. Plus the Waterfalls are awesome (especially the biggest one on the Canadian side). If you want a taste of Europe (especially France) go to Quebec City. It's beautiful and a lot of fun. Ottawa is another beautiful city with lots of things to do. Newfoundland is also a lot of fun. It's a lot better for me, because my Grandparents, and and most of my relatives live there. Lots of places to hike, boat, and eat barbecue moose steak or moose burger, which just as good if not better than American burgers, and steaks. There is a city (forgot the name but it's a French name) right on the west coast of Newfoundland where in the summer time you can see how the Vikings discovered and lived in Newfoundland. There are real actors that play the part as Vikings (very entertaining). I could go on and on about Canada, but I think I gave you enough information.

Canada is good because of its natural resources and climate just like the United States. Vancouver and Toronta makes Canada one of the best livable country in the world.

Love this country, as do many others! There was a time in Europe when travelers who wore their tiny Canadian flag on their backpacks were warmly welcomed - Just for being Canucks! We are very lucky here, even when we look at the big picture. Lovely landscapes, low crime per capita, different cultures, tolerance, social programs and healthcare that is still good...I just don't like out national anthem, it's so morose! Stompin' Tom should re-write it!

IYES! grew up in Canada and loved it.
I regret that my daughter will not experience the kind of relaxed, carefree childhood that I had there (I now live in Georgia). And I know her education will not NEARLY compare with the one I got.
