sorry to shatter your illusions but you have to GET A JOB

Would take you 5 years to get £12000 but 2 years after your 16 you will be 18 and can get loans and credit cards which is not the best idea but is sometimes the only choice if you want a car, holiday nice house or whatever.

Earning £200 a week will give you more than enough to live off for food and accomodation etc.

Or you could sign on at the jobcentre then you don't need to worry about council tax, rent, housing or money for food, doctors, dentist and beer.

Got thrown out of home, got a job (84 pounds a week after tax way back when. No chance to save, after 2 years (18) able to get a much better paid job. Saved a bit of cash and went back to college for a couple of years. Then go a better job, things now aren't too bad (17 years later)...

I suppose you can start by going to college and choosing the right major. That seems logical. During college, work part time doing anything. (work at the mall, your favorite place to eat, babysitting.) Just keep it simple. After you're finished with college, you have to apply for a job. I think it's best to apply for many jobs at once, so your opptions are always open, and you always have a "plan B" in case you don't get selected for your top choice. Make sure you're in the correct career field for you're needs and your abilities/talents. You never want to be stuck with a job that you don't like or you're not good at. You'll do great! Good luck!

I worked all the hours I could, never said no to overtime. Shopped for food at the cheapest stores & bought mainly reduced food, never went out & bought clothes from charity shops.
Now I'm married & don't work because I have a toddler so I still do what I said above after a while it becomes habit

i'm 18 and that i'd be 11 weeks pregnant tommorrow! it is totally exciting and scary jointly! no longer each pregnant youngster had undesirable father and mom, were raised in a nasty eviornment, are whores, or are merely failures! i have been on my own for a lengthy time period now, i'm engaged, watching for, and that i could not be happier. My mom became somewhat upset in the starting up, yet in some months she is going to have a grandchild and he or she is worked up! Our households are very supportive and satisfied for us. It merely takes time. sturdy success!
