I have travelled and live on 3 continents and lived in 6 countries Some folks are just friendly, Like Alaskans, wonderful people, Canadians from Halifax to Vancouver and Whitehorse to Toronto wonderful folks, the Welsh always know how to make you feel welcome, the Irish are lovely, and the Czech make me want to move there, Panama was great for the people but bad for bugs.
Where have you been to live or work where you were the visitor or foreigner but the locals made you feel at home.

Jehovah witnesses are not a nationality, or even an ethnic minority. DUH!!! the question was What country or region of a country are folks friendly from the cross section of the people not one religous group, so put your bibles away.

they are all so friendly and not only that but if you go there, you will see no rubbish at all! and they leave bikes that you can hire ,after they call up the number on the back of it,and there are NO hooligans too.utterly jealous,me!
and when you go there it seems everyone speaks at least 3 languages! not only that but they dont treat visitors abroad like visitors aboraod or say 'ooh,look! a tourist! let's go go sell them a sh!tty coat for 300 euros!' instead they treat you like a friend! i love belguim!!

I haven't traveled that much but I found the Canadians in Vancouver to be the most friendly.

the superb Patch Adams. His complete philosophy in existence is to make friends with everyone he meets. I met him on a workshop approximately 20 years in the past. He pronounced to place in writing to him and he could answer. I sent him a letter (from Australia to u . s . a .) and won a 4 internet site, hand-written answer interior SEVEN days! What a guy

People from space ( I know its not a country) but they are so friendly. I live with a few aliens and they are really friendly folk. Aside from that its got to be cats.

The Australians are so friendly and make you feel at ease immediately. The Japanese are the most kind.

The french really are very rude believe me.
I think welsh peopel are pretty decent.

canadians. i was in new york a couple of weeks ago and they were surprisingly friendly.
the least friendly are the french andthe dutch and finnish people and south africans.
