You didn't say how old you are. Have you tried using a tampon and supplementing with a pad? There are "night time pads" which are longer but I agree with the other answer. Definitely use pads with wings. Some people are afraid of wearing tampons overnight because of toxic shock syndrome. I will use a fresh tampon in right before I go to bed and take it out as soon as I get up because of TSS. Sometimes, I do leak and the pad is there to help.

OK I just saw your additional comment that you can't wear tampons. So here's something else I've done. I've gone to bed wearing two pads. I put one in the normal position and another pad starting from where it ends up the back of my underwear. This helps and if you use wings it would give you a little area coverage also.

Well im sure if its a heavy flow it will probably leak through your clothes but not that much! Trust me because I mostly have heavy periods and it usually leaks through the best thing is to spread an old sheet and wear old clothes or whatever... just make sure its not brand-new....try and wear a long pad....and....if you wake up and feel wet in the night I advise you to change you're pad!......
Hope I made a difference!......

Wear a super pad or get up in the middle of the night and change. put an old towel on the bed just 2 be safe. dont wear a tampon unless u are an early riser.

Always brand has a pad that's much longer for overnights. I use that and don't get the bleed-through. Also pick up a pack of men's boxer shorts to wear over your undies if you're really worried.

I would put a tampon and a pad, to protect my cloths, or you could buy pads that are made for heavy periods.

Wear a pad with some old underwear and some tight shorts, this will keep everything in place, put some old towels on the bed so you dont get anything on your sheets.

Well as seasons and time changes so does a women's monthly cycle. Usually during times of stress or when it is extremely hot like today, your menstrual flow may become heavier. I know it's happened to me several times. But to be sure is not something more serious I would reccommend you see a doctor as soon as possible.

You need to go to your obstetrician to check for fibroid tumors in your uterus. They are not harmful except for the heavy bleeding and cramping. If that is not it there are other options you can explore like a birth control with hormones that may reduce and regulate your period. Good luck!

wear a pad made for overnight use. wear underwear you dont mind it getting stained in case of a leak. if your still concerned, you really need to talk to your mom and/or your doctor.
