why are most guys at drama school gay but most famous actors are straight?

Hollywood, being in the repressive US, would have a canary if all its leading men were gay, so they do a 'don't ask don't tell' kind of a thing.

A large number of famous actors are single and often photographed with Playboy type ladies. Ahem.

Of course Tom Cruise is not gay at all, very not gay.

You're not telling us the truth. Most actors at drama school are not gay. Some are, but by no means the majority. In this day and age it's easier and easier to be "out" about our sexuality. The acting world is not made up of people who are pretending not to be gay. But there are some.

Most likely the answer is because most famous actors didn't attend drama school. They chose a different way to study or happened to be people doing another line of work that got a lucky break into stardom.

An actor who is gay (and out) before they have achieved any significant level of celebrity or stardom is going to find themselves pressured to step back into the closet when they begin to be known. This is because while the talent in Hollywood is very liberal, the corporations and financiers are conservative. So naturally these extremely sensitive actors fear that being out and open will kill their chances of becoming a star (despite evidence we have seen to the contrary--consider the gay movie star of your choice).
Meanwhile, if there's a male movie star you strongly suspect is gay, and you're wishing he would come out, let me give you a little advice: Don't hold your breath--it may never happen.

I think you have that backwards - just think of all the famous actors who are, or were before they died, homosexuals. Rock Hudson, Charles Lawton, and many, many, many more. It seems to be a necessary main item on ones CV to enter the acting profession..............

appearing is one among those proffesions that seem to allure to gay adult men, and there are a number of many gay actors enjoying straights, yet they are ACTORS, and as such they do no longer play themselves, so as that they are able to play clergymen, docs, murderers, or straights. it is appearing

Who are the real gays
Therefor keeping them sweet and getting rolls in films
Whilst the DIRECTORS get their bit parts in the new actors
Then when they become big actors they can tell the DIRECTORS to go F-CK themselves
