I am a investor in alabama looking to get homes in alabama, that are foreclosed and ready to sell, or for sale by owner, REO's (bank owned). If you know of a pretty good site that offers that please let me know.

Contact a local title company. They will have a NOD list, at least in California they do. The Notice of Default list contains the "preforclosure" homes. Foreclosed homes are located in your local paper as they are public notice. Fsbo should also be advertised wherever your local advertising is. Good luck.

My title company gives me that info for free so that I use their services. However, I also use www.realtytrac.com as well. As an investor, you'll be better off having this info. It e-mails me when a new listing meets one of my search criteria then I target that property with mail and or door knocking (depending on location).

Regards
