Hi, I'm also Israeli. We want back our kidnapped soldiers alive, and we want the innocent people of the Northern cities to live in peace, and not under a rain of missils. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time Hizbullah is attacking us without us doing anything to them (we even withdrew our forces from south Lebanon a few years ago - big mistake as it turns out), in 2000 they kidnapped and murders three soldiers, and they always are sending missiles into Israel. They are affiliated with Iran, and get weapons from her, and they openly admit that they want to erase Israel off the map. We are destroying Hizbullah strongholds in South Lebanon, and bombing their airports to prevent them from getting more weapons from abroad. We also bombed some bridges that lead from South Lebanon to the North to prevent Hizbullah from transfering our kidnapped soldiers deeper into Lebanon or into Iran.
Our war is with Hizbullah, which is a terrorist orginization, not with all Lebanon.
and by the way, gcaisle, the prisoners that we have are actually terrorists who planned to kill innocent people, so we snagged them before they actually managed to do that (and many times also after they did), they are the people behind the suicide bombers, and they are people who have shot at women and children, knifed them, stoned them, and would continue doing so if they were free, so get the facts right!

They are demanding the destruction of Hizbollah, because Hizbollah had the cheek to stage a raid across the border and killed a few soldiers and kidnapped two. So they are killing Lebanese civilians and grossly over-reacting so that the Jewish community in New Zealand is ashamed of them. I hope they get this message. Hizbollah staged the raid to draw attention to the Israeli invasion of Gaza to the south of Israel and to have a couple of bargaining chips (people) to highlight the fact that Israel has 9000 Palestinian and Lebanese POWs in prison 6 years after they withdrew from Southern Lebanon after occupying it for 15 years.

Israel'e agenda is far more reaching than jst getting their soldiers back. They want to destroy the Lebanese economy and humiliate the Arabs. Hezballah may have started this latest round but the issue runs much deeper.
As for Kellly TX, you are so out of touch it's funny. Read your history books. That land belongs to the Arabs (Christian, Muslim or Jewish). The problems started in the last century with the influx of the European Jews into Palestine (not Arab Jews). I am sure if you met a Palestinian he/she could trace their roots to that back countless generations. Please dont give me the argument that the Jews were there 2 thousand years ago and therefore had a right to come back after the holocaust and displace millions of Arabs. Many revisionists have tried to paint a different story but those who read know the truth. Why cant Israel then at least return the lands it confiscated in 1967 in exchange for peace?

What makes you think israeli people want to talk to you. Better settle for what you can get.
Israelis want the right to exist. Period. Lebanon is one of the middle eastern facist states that do not recognize Israel. Until that changes they will fight.

Hi, Im Israeli, we want the soilders that were captured by hizbullah, who are staying in Lebanon, and the army is mostly trying to bomb places that they think the hizbullah people or weapons are. we also want them to stop sending rockets over to north Israel.

I am a Gentile.. They are fighting for their Promise Land.. They want Peace and for Arab countries to stop trying to steal from them. Is that simple.. They are trying to get a hold of what belongs to them and defend their own...
