Quite honestly, looking at questions here on Yahoo! Answers helps me break my writer's block. This is a recent thing. I find that when I can spend a little time coming up with bogus questions and answers, it helps to get me out of my routine and think a bit more "creatively". Mundane things like washing dishes or paying bills or doing household chores put my mind on auto pilot. I never know what I'm going to find when I come here. Craigslist is good for this, too.
Am I a troll? I guess some people would say yeah. I don't think I'm a complete troll, though.

I stopped drinking more than 10 yrs ago but I still have many memories of that time! So for me it's listening to a master, i.e., Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy 2, Howlin Wolf or Lightnin Hopkins & others and the way they created their lyrics that inspires me, I only hope the stuff I create is 1/10th as good!

Anything that causes a stir inside me inspires me to write. I personally believe there is no such thing as writer's block, when you want to create, you'll stop at nothing until you finish.

Believe it or not, reading inside the subject area I'm writing in often helps me overcome writer's block. Hope this helps.

Go to your nearest state park and walk around! Go set by a lake. Nature is a wonderful inspiration.

I like to look through pictures, take a bikeride, talk to old friends or meet new people...
a nap usually does it for me, though.
