in india there are areas which are restricted for public to get detailed maps. I like to know that if u.s.a. also have got similer restrictions.

Of course not. We have freedom of speech, movement, and press.

However, certain military installations are, of course, off limits, and details of street layout, etc. may be restricted for security purposes.

Oh, and by the way, Special Education refers to the education (and parenting) of children with disabilities. Not "specialized information."

no, you can get a map of anywhere you want. At Google Earth, you can even see some buildings, as well as the street map
