here are my needs can anyone tell me which one of these players fits: i need to copy my music from my cd collection, works with a good assortment of download sites(nothing illegal), and has voice recording capabilities. i will be using it in the car, while riding a bike and to record lectures in class. any input would be greatly appreciated.

iPod has it all you can get and accesory to record and an arm band to keep it in while you run you can buy a car adapter (i reccomend the griffin road trip) and any file that can be placed into an itunes libray can be put on an iPod i have owned i iPod for 3 years and it's by far the best.

They are both great players, but I prefer the click wheel on the iPod. The iPod needs a separate attachment to do voice recording. I don't know about the Zen.
