Your car is 22years old.
When the battery is really low and the alternator isn't charging the system.
The engine will not have enough electrical energy to power the coil and make a spark to run the engine.
Get, the charging system fixed.
1)It is probably the Alternator,..perhaps the belt is broken, slipping,
or it has simply failed.
2) Give more details.

Your alternator has quit working
This means it can not charge your battery, or provide the electrical energy for your ignition system to work.
Replace the alternator and your battery while your at it.
Good Luck.

Sounds like there's a short in the system. How long before the batt. dies? Could be lots of things...but once the batt. dies, the car is going to stall. Find your draw and you'll be one step closer to fixing your car. Good luck.

Sounds like your alternator is not charging. If your battery is dead and alternator not charging, your car will die everytime.
