set up a 360 account or get an aviator i think i forget how i did it i think you need to go to your e-mail to do it

Click on your smile in gray box. Go to -edit my info- under your smile. Go to the picture and choose -use my yahoo!avatar- and click on it. You may have to Click on -edit my yahoo! avatar. Use the tabs at the top to make your avatar. Hope that helps. Good luck!

For a picture of your choice:
You need to create a 360 page with Yahoo here http://360.yahoo.com/login.html?.done=http://360.yahoo.com/ and put your picture in it. Then you go here http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit;_ylt=AqKCrcnWZt4E0puUji68SRTsy6IX and chose the "Use Yahoo! 360 picture" option." That's about it.
For a Yahoo! Avatar:
You need to create an avatar here http://avatars.yahoo.com/ and save it (Just click the "Save Changes" button, you don't actually have to save it to your computer). Then you go here http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit;_ylt=AqKCrcnWZt4E0puUji68SRTsy6IX and chose the "Use my Yahoo! Avatar" option.
