A hollaback girl is someone who doesn't take crap. When someone is speaking foul things about her she doesn't retaliate with words, she retaliates with her fists.

I read somewhere that a "hollaback girl" is a term used in cheerleading(hence the cheerleaders in the video). the leader yells something, the rest answer or hollaback. thus this makes them followers. what gwen is saying is that she is not a follower. God bless u.
