Cotton is a natural fibre,obtained from plants and has been made into clothes for hundreds of years.
Polyester is a synthetic fibre. It was first made in 1941 and is produced chemically from natural gas or oil.
Because Polyester is a mixed fibre,you would be more likely to suffer itchyness. Cotton is a longer lasting material,making it a better buy.

Cotton is the better wear Polyester is not good wear it is the on that make me itch

Polyester may be the most reasonably priced, but cotton is kinder to your skin. Polyester is not breathable, cotton is, and absorbant as well. So, forget the price, go for comfort.

Cotton allows your skin to breathe more and is cooler. Polycotton blends are easier to keep wrinkle free.
