Recently I was reading a news article at Yahoo News
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap_travel/20060712/ap_tr_ge/travel_brief_holy_city_gay_march_1

Where I was surprised to read how much Jews are intolerant towards gays and lesbians like muslims. In the same news article I read this:

"The threat of violence has resurfaced this year. An anonymous flyer distributed in some ultra-Orthodox [Jew] neighborhoods Tuesday offered about $4,400 to anyone who killed a marcher."

Isnt that absurd? shouldnt America put sanctions on Israel, instead of supporting it and thus supporting terrorism and extremism?

The article you listed says a flyer offering a reward was "distributed" in an Orthodox neighborhood. It does not say the flyer was created by the Orthodox, so anybody could have created it. It is a leap to accuse=use the Orthodox Jews of doing this.

Why would you ask about punishing Israel when the Muslims and the Church all dislike the Gays.

A vast majority of Jews are sensitive to the situation with the gay population. The Jews have no reason to persecute or hate them.

I personally believe that Homosexuality is caused by a genetic disorder. Scinece will answer this question is less than 10 years. We shall see.

There are extremists in all religions and cultures..including America. Christian extremist who physically attack abortionists, is one example. The difference is that the American government, Israeli government and the citizens as a whole do not condone or support these activities. They work internally to stop them.

Why would you be surprised about certain Jews and Muslims being intolerant against gays? So are most Christian groups.

Just like ANY religion, there are extremists and terrorists who do horrible things in the name of their religion. Christians, Jews, and Muslims alike.

(off-topic, but that's my reason for believing the world would be a more peaceful place if there were no religion).

I suppose you will find extremists in any organization, religious or otherwise. I believe the vast majority of Jews are not extremists. A few bad apples in every barrel.

Intolerant? That is a mild word compared to martyrdom. Jews are not willing to kill themselves with explosives just to kill some muslims because of a promise in their bible of 40 virgins for the martyr who kills himself in destruction of many infidels. Any extremist group of people who are commanded in their bible to kill themselves to kill many others of a different religion should be destroyed themselves. In case you people don't get it. If you live in america, YOU are an infidel and they would not hesitate to cut your head off and dance around your lifeless bodies. Don't Defend them.
