Not that I approve or disapprove of anal sex, but this is the stage in his sex life that he is eager to try new things. From what I have heard, it can be painful if you're not open and comfortable with the idea; it's like knowing someone is hitting you (playfully) so you tense in anticipation, and it hurts even worse. I don't think he's bored, just exploring. But make sure you're not doing it for him; you should be 100% sure it's something you want to do.

Everybody has their fetish, so it's good that he's communicating it to you. Mine has always been threesomes, whether with two girls and a guy or two guys and a girl. My last girlfriend was a prude, and wouldn't do it, and I lived with three other girls, and the other girls all wanted to have sex with the both of us. Well.. he's a guy so it's highly unlikely he's bored with sex.
If you don't want to do this then don't! Stand by your guns and ask him if there's something else he's interested in you can try. But don't feel like you owe him a thing for saying no.

He's probably not bored but more along the lines of experimental. Do it only if you want to and be relaxed!!! I will say this it probably will not end at anal. It may go other places, more wild and even more taboo.

I doubt he's bored with you, in a sexual way. He's just wanting to experiment. Keep in mind if you're not comfortable doing this then don't. You have to want to do it to.
If he keeps pestering you to do it then ask him if he would mind you strapping on a dildo and having your way with him. See how gross he thinks that would be.
