I love Zinedine Zidane and I'll no add a single word.I was in Place de la Concorde(in Paris) the 10th of july when the team come back home from Germany and I saw people's reactions, I saw the TV interview with Zidane, I read all the articles about him and with him, I spoke with simple people about him and I kept the same oppinion:ZIZOU IS A REAL MAN.

An inspiration, an endless motivation, Zinedine Zidane ended his Soccer career with pride and dignity. The legend Pelle once spoke the words: “Zinedine Zidane is simply the best!” It wasn’t only about the world cup for him, it was about his dignity, his self-respect… And if anyone would like to put him down for that, that’s absolutely preposterous, that shows how much dignity you have in yourself.
We say we forgive him, what does he need to be forgiven for? For defending himself, for defending his loved ones?
No, no, we do not have to forgive this man for anything. We have to be prideful and supportive of him, if anything.
Rather anyone likes it or not, Zizou is a living legend in the hearts of people all over the world. And I hope Zinedine Zidane realizes that as he steps foot off the soccer field into retirement. He has contributed so much to the soccer world, we should not put him down for what he did, but be kind and thankful like we should be…
Everything happens for a reason, and what Marco Matarazzi received he will always deserve. And even when Zinedine Zidane received a red card, he did not regret it. So Why Should We???
Give this legend some credit… especially after he’s retired… LONG LIVE ZIZOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VIVE LE FRANCIA!!!!!!!!! Je am Zizou!!!
Thank you for giving five years of your precious life to Real Madrid, for winning the world cup for us in 1998, for being a marvelous player of France, Thank you for being a legend we can all look up to, in heart and in skills...Thank you for being our Pride Zizou!!!

a real man indeed. anyone who stands against racism and family is a man (or woman) of courage, integrity, nobility, and deserves respect, honor, and admiration! Qualities such as these are surely hard to come by. victims of racism know EXACTLY what ZZ felt and feels like now. No matter how you feel about Zidane as a player, you got to admit that as a PERSON, he showed the world another side of him that many people around the world can identify with--what he stands for is honorable; HOW he reacted was probably spur-of-the-moment and hasty, but surely understandable. He unashamedley defended his family, his religion, and his people as a whole without thinking of the consequences of the game--the game did not matter at that moment--his honor did!

I COMPLETELY AGREE!!! Someone who has that much moral values and is not afraid of what other people thinks...is amazing...my admiration and respect has only increased that much more after seeing him in the finals. And other than his obviously exceptional talents and skills...he definitely is an exceptional human being! GO ZIZOU!!!!!!!! =)

There is no more of a real man than Zinedine is and this year he proved it to everyone.

Like he said in his interview:"first and foremost I am a man..."

Get it everyone?
