Limp Bizkit isn't rock. No real rock anyway.

When I was a baby, my dad would rock me to sleep singing Brown Eyes Girl by Van Morisson and Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles. I grew up listening to Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, and the Dead. I have no idea what song I heard first, because I was so young. But that music has always stayed with me.

Don't remember the exact song, but listening to the radio when I was still in elementary school, I realized that I just wanted to listen and dance around and not get any homework done.
Started to listen seriously when I was 12 - a VERY long time ago. I think it was the Beatles that got me involved in R&R

I can recall specific songs that turned me onto specific artists (Helpless got me addicted to Neil Young, for example) but I have always been surrounded by music of all different kinds. I can remember being knee high to a grass hopper andlaying in bed hearing my mom playing Madman Across the Water on her hi-fi, and Arlo Guthrie. My dad was always listening to Waylon Jennings and Hank Williams. My brother and his friends were always listening to AC DC or The Sex Pistols, my grand parents loved Glenn Miller so I got tons of that too.

I do know that it was the Metallica song "Fade To Black" that turned me on to them.
