Holding the button until it releases to the door, don't letting go of the button helps me win something, don't let the time run out, look for a place where the claw can hook up to something like an attachment or box . Sometimes it is pure luck. I won about 600 different things from jewrly, watches, stuffed animals, precious moments porcelain boxes, rings, landyards, and collectibles. Sometimes double or triple at one time. Good luck!!!!

Trial and error. I won a Fraggle Rock Boomer Doll last night at the shore arcade. when you play the first time watch how the crane grabs and closes, try not to play the games with large heavy objects as they are mostly rigged for you to lose. light rigid prizes are easiest to win. like a beenie baby snake would be impossible to win they have no real shape to grab with a crane. but the polar bear would.

Skill and practice. And a machine that isn't rigged to make you lose. Alot of places loosen up the claw so it can't grip the prizes. Find a newer machine and bring plenty of spare change. You might get some strange looks sitting in front of one of those things for a long period of time, but that's how I decorated my daughters shelving in her room. Skill and practice.

You dont!! Most times as said its luck. The toys and goodies weight alot so its hard for the claws to lock on to them.
