"Six Flags Inc. is considering a plan to sell Magic Mountain in Valencia. Company officials say the park may be developed into homes. Some other housing developments already planned for the area:"

they announced awhile ago they were going to sell magic mountain, but now they say that are going to close the park and shut everything down because residents are unhappy of all the people it brings and it is said it holds the worst traffic in California. and gangs and violence from all the teens it attracts.

i think thats really stupid. if the people that live around there are complaining then maybe they shouldnt have moved next door to an amusement park in the first place duhh. especially since most of the homes and other things around magic mountain werent even there when the park first opened. it was built in the middle of nowhere and they just built all kinds of new things around it.

That's so sad... I practically grew up at Six Flags and Disneyland.. I hate to hear that they are considering closing. Some of my best teenage memories are at that park.

ok, well i hope they dont close it, and if they do...i better hurry up, and get there to ride all the rides first. they have the best rides in the whole world, and it would be stupid to sell it. if they do sell it, what will they do with the rides, i mean they just opened a new one, would they move them, or throw them away?? Everyone should hurry up and go and spend a lot of money, then maybe they wont close it...

No... from what i heard from someone that works there its just a publicity stunt to get more people to come. all the other parks that have been said to be sold are real though.

That is not a FACT yet. What is a fact is the park is up for SALE. Yes, it may be torn down but it may not.
