Take vetirinary science in college as well as sociology(?), you may also need some criminal justice classes.

I wanted to do that too! Especially after watching it on Animal Planet. There is special courses they will send you to, to become an EAMT (EAMT stands for Emergency Animal Medical Technician). You also have to be 21.

Call your local ASCPA,& ask what type of knowlege you"ll need, to be an officer.
