I have fallen on the road and have broken a bone in my finger. What should I do know? Can I claim compensation. I have heard of all sorts about claim management companies that they charge heavy fees? Who should I tell about my claim?

Why should the taxpayer pay for you falling on the road. Were you pissed, on drugs or just not looking where you were going. Were your shoes defective, did you trip on your lace - these and a thousand other questions will be put to you if you pursue a claim. Nurse your little finger and your injured pride and next time look where you are going....................

You need to get a lawyer, but most likely you will just get paid for the injury, and the hospital bills. Good luck going against the city, no judge is going to rule against the city, unless it was tatally the cities fall. It was not the city fall that you fell. Do you have any proof that the fall was caused because of the city?
I have seen a lot of these cases go against the city, most of them don't get anything, just the hospital bill.
