I am using a citronella plant in a pot on my deck. It's a member of the geranium family & I got it at the garden center at Lowes.

I also use the evergreen herb, Rosemary, planted in the ground around the deck. You can break off small branches or tips of it & rub it on your skin too as a bug repellant.

I bought citronella plants at Loews and Home Depot. They work great and only cost about 3 dollars each. I haven't been bitten in 2 years.

I know that in some mosquito repellent there is eucalyptus oil. Maybe the eucalyptus plant would work.

Certain plants will work if you cut then to the right length but
I usually use a rolled up newpaper or fly swatter.

Whatever you plant, put in some BAY LEAVES. They won't touch them! Good Luck.
