Because against that fraction of time you saw that, most of the rest of the time was about the damage and injuries done to Israel. And because, in one shot, Israel killed those civilians all together, riding a clearly civilian public transportation bus trying to escape from a heavy shelled area. I'd say that makes for a headline. It's also a headline on CNN, heck even on Fox News.
Also, there were no civilians dead in Israel today by Lebanese attacks. Should the media rather focus on their emotional distress perhaps? Haaretz is the best selling newspaper in Israel. www.haaretz.com. Eight hurt today. How about that for imbalance and severity of casualities?

Well, it's how reporters work. They'll report whatever they hear, and if someone in Lebonan says that an attack killed 34 civilians, then they'll report it. Who knows, with all the work Israel is doing, it could be true. If you want to see a good satire on how reporters actually work, watch the South Park episode... "Two Days Before the Day After Tomarow." Theres a little too much truth there.

Let's see...because the Arabs are the ones who started the whole thing by kidnapping three soldiers and send missiles into Israel to murder, apparently, 34 people.

Odds are that Yahoo took the headline from one of the liberal press outlets.
The liberal media doesn't care about the fact that Israel was attacked first, or that Israeli civilians are being specifically targeted while the Israeli military are attacking terrorists' hideouts. All the liberal media cares about is destroying the Bush Administration, and destroying anyone who allies themselves with Bush.

That's the Liberal media for you. The fact is, Hezbola (sp???) started this war when they attacked Israel from Lebanon, and kidnapped two of Israel's soldiers. Notice how the media didn't report on that much? Yeah, it's typical of the Lib media.
